Alejandro Puga
Alejandro Puga is a poet and artist.
Alejandro Puga is considered a very lyrical poet. Of his many works, the epic poem Pararrayos (Spanish for lightning rod) is the most famous. It was described by French poet Andre Pieyre de Mandiargues as one of the most beautiful poems written in the Spanish language in the twentieth century.
In the visual arts, Puga is the creator of irreverent collages and watercolour paintings.
He has written texts on Hans Bellmer, Roberto Matta, Joseph Cornell, Victor Brauner and Clovis Trouille.
